- Changed behavior for dragging items into a folder on a remote volume:
- Normal drag moves on the same volume or copies to a different volume.
- Option-drag forces a copy, whatever the destination.
- Command-drag forces a move, whatever the destination.
- Added two new hidden preferences, to either force Overflow's menu extra to show or hide regardless of the visibility of the Dock icon:

- Categories have been added to allow Overflow to be more organized and hold more items.
- Hot key to open window - with a default setting of F1.
- Overflow is now fully controllable by the keyboard using the following:
- Esc: Hide Overflow.
- Tab: Cycle selection highlight through items.
- Shift-Tab: Cycle selection highlight through items in reverse.
- Arrow keys: Move selection highlight between items.
- ⌘ + up/down arrow: Move up or down through the categories list.
- ⌘ + number: Select a category corresponding to the number pressed.
- Space, Return, ⌘O: Launch the currently highlighted item.
- Option + Click on item: Launch the clicked item but keep Overflow visible.
- Command + Click on item: Reveal the clicked item in the Finder.
Additionally, an item can be highlighted by typing the first few letters of its name.
- Added the ability to open documents by dragging them onto applications in Overflow - or move items into folders stored in Overflow.
- Added contextual menus, including the ability to see a folder's contents.
- Added control for duration of the window fade.
- Added dock menu to allow opening of any of the items directly from the dock.
- Overflow now has a help book.
- Added ability to drag apps off to remove them (complete with fancy poof effect).
- The window position now stays in an expected place after mirroring is turned on or off, or the resolution is changed.
